”I have been involved with Staffordshire Bull Terriers from 2006. Together with my wife we have been active as breeders under the kennelname Aldgillis since 2009. Our goal in breeding is healthy and athletic Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
Throughout the years I have shown dogs from our kennel in the UK and gained Stud Book Numbers with, Aldgillis Out of Control, Aldgillis Walk this Way, Aldgillis The Rising, and Aldgillis Glory Days. I also won Best Veteran with our imported dog Sajojistaff High Voltage twice, under Nick Hale and Jayne Winrow.
I did my judging education in the UK, in the Judges Education Scheme of the UK Kennel Club, where I am currently listed as a level 2 judge, and can judge an unlimited number of classes for a specific breed at open, limited, and championship shows, provided no Challenge Certificates (CCs) are awarded. Some examples of the education: Succesfull completing the Breed Specific Seminar and Assesment, organised by the East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club on 18-2-2017. Assesors were Glynis Yuill, Dave Lee and Malcolm Boam. Attend the Breed Appreciation Day (BAD) including passing the multiple choice exam organised by the East Midlands Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club and East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club at 24-7-2022. Speakers were Gary Hinsley and Gill Thomas. During the years I have completed all seminars and exams to reach JEP level 2.
I have judged in multiple countries including England, Italy, Czech Republic and The Netherlands. My first judging appointment was in 2012.
I would like to thank the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of Finland for my invitation to judge at their Staffipäivät 2026 this year.”
